I should be exercising....

But, instead, I'm blogging. I am going to ride the bike that goes nowhere and do my workout as soon as I'm done, I promise. I just got this overwhelming desire to blog, so here goes nothing...

Can you believe this?! The Dishcloth Fun KAL is featuring one of my patterns!! I'm all excited and honored and just really excited, it's hard to explain just how excited I mean, knitters have chosen one of my patterns for a KNIT A LONG, how cool is that?! Oh, the pattern that they chose is Flower Power. And, thus far the knitters that have finished have allowed me to put their pics in the Knitters !! Thanks, guys!!!!!

And, as if that isn't enough! my Loopy Socks are featured in the latest KnitPicks catalog! I must say, it's just as exciting as when they were featured right after they were published! FYI, not my feet, LOL!
All in all, I am one fortunate knitter! I'm so lucky to have had other knitters take notice of my little designs! How blessed can one girl be?! Thanks to one and all!!!!

Onto the current knitting front. Well, I've done something that you all know that I don't like to do, and that is cast on for another project with one already on the needles. I did this, as I said in the previous post, for the fake International Knitters Week. I am attempting to design a hat to go with A Touch of Whimsy scarf. Well, I have tried a few designs that I thought might complement the scarf...I didn't like those at all. So, after many false starts I decided to stick with what works and use the same design (with smaller needles) as the scarf for the hat band and it's looking pretty good thus far. but, I must say, "thus far" isn't far along at all! Like I said, I tried other designs before chosing the obvious! When I've knit the desired circumference I will then unzip that provisional cast on and graph it together, pick up sts along the top, knit a bit, do decreasing and voila...a hat it will be, at least, that's the plan! Okay, I will admit that I should be farther along, but I spent the entire day yesterday playing in Photoshop and I did no knitting, not one single, solitary stitch! This could be a bad thing, a detriment to my knitting.....I say this because....Photoshop is just as addictive as knitting can you believe?! OH my goodness, it's really gonna be bad if I get the computer tablet and pen that I want! But, alas, this is the future, right now, I just want yarn.....

You go girl!!!!

p.s. I should be exercising too. Or cleaning the house. Or doing any number of so-called important and necessary things. Oh well.

Congrats on the patterns! And what you and I *both* need is an exercise bike right in front of the computer screen. ;)

Yay!!!! I saw your patterns and thought of you. Very cool!

How about an exercise bike that runs the computer, so you have to pedal to read blogs. I'd be so fit!
