I'm Tagged and Stuff!

1st of all, my Meme, I was tagged by Imilla and as I read around on other's blogs, it seems as though everyone has been tagged, so I cannot continue the tagging, so, the tag stops here, my bad.....

The Tag: 7 Random Facts About Me
1. I was in a life-threatening wreck in 1981.
2. I'm the youngest of 3 siblings, my husband is also the youngest in his family, therefore we are two babes
3. Of all the continents, Lonnie and I would love to visit Australia.
4. I'm in dire need of a haircut...
5. I'm a Christian.
6. I had a "Leave it to Beaver" type of childhood....it was wonderful.
7. My very favorite tree to climb was always an orange tree.

Onto knitting news...I have designed another pair of socks for Lonnie and am knittng them with TOFUtsies which is a delight to knit with! I should finish knitting them over the weekend and have the pattern posted soon....I just have to think of a name! Sock designing is easy, the naming of the pattern is the difficult part!

And, we won another yarn holder!!! She should arrive any day now! Gorgeous round bakelite, LOOK: I can hardly wait for her arrival! This will be my 2nd round (I am collecting 2 of each type...or so goes the plan....).

Last and certainly NOT least, my dear, dear friend, Sara Jayne sent me a surprise package of knitty goodness! I was feeling a bit blue because my leg/hip have really been giving me a hard time and I've not left the house in weeks...and what do you know, I opened the door this afternoon to let Sally out when I saw a package on the doorstep. I immediately tried to remember what I had ordered that I had forgotten about or had Lonnie surprised me with something...then I saw SJ's name! I opened the package and read the card, began to cry like a baby (she's so sweet!) and then I removed packing paper and saw the yummies I then really began to cry like a big baby! The box was filled with lovelies! A bag of Harry and David Truffles (YUM), a hank of Lisa Souza sock yarn (oh boy oh boy oh boy!!), 2 balls of Debbie Bliss Alpaca Silk DK (we all know how much I love it!!!), a hank of my favorite cotton yarn..Blue Sky Cotton and a hank of Malabrigo Lace!!!!! CAN YOU BELIEVE?! I am overwhelmed by your kindness, Sara, and I am so lucky and blessed to call you friend, not because you gave me a big box of KNITLOVE, but because you are such a wonderful friend and friends are among the greatest gifts that God can give us. many times over! FYI, I'm no longer feeling down because of my stuff....it's amazing what a friend can do!

I would like to thank you all for your kind words, thoughts and prayers for my daughter, please continue, she's not yet passed the kidney stone. The urologist told her that it was not time for any sort of intervention to remove it, she is to drink a truckload of water and increase activity. Thank you all so much, you are great friends to remember us, I don't have the words to truly express the depth of my thanks.

I've never been tagged. :( Heh, it sounds painful anyways. Neat new yarn holder. I LOVE the previous pink one you got. I totally dig pink. And I will still be thinking of your daughter. :)

I hope you come to Australia soon and make sure you visit Sydney first - I'll be waiting!

I couldn't find a return email to thank you for your prayers regarding my brother. At times like this, kindness, support and understanding mean a lot. x
