Γιορτή Παρασκευής

Chef Knitterie's service for today is "Γιορτή Παρασκευής"
In other words,
"Friday's Feast"

Feast Ninety-Nine

Appetizer

On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being highest, how much do you like your job?
Honestly, I would have to give it a 1, considering that I am disabled. But, when I think about it, I could be far worse off and I am a lot better than millions of people, so, I give my life a 10. Yes, I know it's not my job, but, I hate to sound like a downer. Yes, I suffer from constant pain, 24/7, but, it's better than it has been and I'm not dying. So, my life it a 10+ and my job, well, it remains a 1.

Soup
When was the last time you think you were lied to?
I honestly can't remember.........

Share some lyrics from own of your favorite songs.

If a picture paints a thousand words, Then why can't I paint you?
The words will never show the you I've come to know.
If a face could launch a thousand ships, Then where am I to go?
There's no one home but you, You're all that's left me too.
And when my love for life is running dry, You come and pour yourself on me.
If a man could be two places at one time, I'd be with you.
Tomorrow and today, beside you all the way.
If the world should stop revolving spinning slowly down to die, I'd spend the end with you.
And when the world was through, Then one by one the stars would all go out, Then you and I would simply fly away
Lonnie sang that to me when we were married.

What do you do/take when you are in pain?
Wow, talking about hitting close to home. That is something that I will not reveal on here, I see a pain specialist who manages my pain. I have a medtronic pump in me which delivers low doses of pain meds directly into my spinal fluid 24/7 and I take a timed release tablet every 12 hrs.

Dessert
Fill in the blanks: My __________ is very __________.
My husband is very sexy.

I really like your answer to #1. That you can be in constant pain and still rate life a 10 is awesome. My mother lives with chronic pain, too, due to a disability, and I have so much admiration for people who can keep living life even in the midst of so much pain. You're an inspiration.
