My Stash is FLASHING

Some of my friends at Knitting Help are having a Stash Contest (I don't really think it's a contest, just a way to get us to do a little flashing...as if we need encouragement !) I'm happy to show my stash, the only deal being this...can ya imagine how difficult/funny it is for a girl on all of the time to get her boxes of yarn out from under her ?! Let me tell you this, first, my is high off of the floor because my Loving Man put the bed on lifters both so I can store boxes of yarn under the bed and...get in and out of the bed with ease . Okay, now that you are imagining me doing all of this on crutches (go ahead and laugh, it was a funny site!) I will get on with the business at hand.....

My Stash......that's right, it's time to say: ....hope ya do cause ya ain't getting mine

It's time to my
(click photos to enlarge)

As you have seen in the photos, I enjoy knitting and magazines alot, too! I'm am going to admit it right here and now...I love to knit and I love to collect all things knitty. Shoot, I just counted them and I have 50 knitting books! I'm beginning to amass a quite a little knitting library and I enjoy it! I can think of 3 books off of the top of my head that I would love to have now!
Oh yeah, remember, I'm a proud member of and am hoping to order a bag of Debbie Bliss yarn tomorrow and then, (I'm really excited about this one!!) my KH Swap Pal will be sending some yarn my way in the near future.
I sold some yarn (66 balls) that I no longer used at the first of the year and I really need to replenish it....don't you agree?! It is my goal to one day have a stash that makes knitters drool when they think about it....LOL, I don't ask for much. What can I say....ya'll know I love yarn and all things knitty!
On a serious note, it sounds as if I'm never satisfied, I know, but honestly, this isn't the case...knitting is what I do! I have finally come to the realization (lol, and it took years, trust me!) that I will never be able to live the life that others do because of my disability (and that's cool, I don't know of anyone any more blessed than I). I don't get out and do physical things, I stay at home a great deal of the time out of necessity and while doing so, I've gotten the hang of collecting yarn and knitty things (and knitting, of course!), as I've told ya'll....just wanted to let you know that I'm truly not selfish and unable to be satisfied!!! LOL, truthfully, all I really need to be satisfied is My Lord, my wonderful husband, family and friends! Don't get me wrong....all these goodies are quite the bonus . Admit it, don't you wish you were me ..... I know you do

Wow, what a stash and it's organized! My hubby would have a fit if I had that much yarn stashed away.
