Chef Knitterie is kicking off the beginning of the Knitting World Cup with a plattter of "Messen Sie swatches mit einer Note von addi turbos und denises ab," yes, Chef is tantalizing us with not only his obvious culinary and knitting talent, but with his full on language skills...today Chef is honoring the host county with his German. Allow me to give him a nudge to interpret today's service into English, "Chef....please, English for the rest of us." Chef: "If I must...1st, you know that I worked many years at the UN as the top chef. I must use my languages so that I do not lose them! If I must interpret, service for today is,
'Gauge swatches with a touch of addi turbos and denises.'"Kick off is at noon...there will be some quick swatching done as I decide exactly which one of the pieces in the "Summer Ensemble" I will choose to begin as we embark on the World Cup of Knitting.....
Soleil is complete. I will give her to my sister @ church on Sunday. I'm still a bit put out with myself about the sleeve faux pas, but, alas...it is what it is...a tank. I will do some sleeve work during the World Cup, then I hope to be prepared to tackle another adult garment with sleeves after the "Summer Ensemble" is complete.
Aren't you loving the pink croc that slipped into the photo?!

I love your little Chef's conversations even though I don't have a clue what he is saying! The finished (or modified) Rose is just beautiful!
